About Virtua Cop 2:
Virtua Cop 2 follows the same gameplay pattern of its predecessor. You are a police officer sent after criminals, from subways and a bank to aboard helicopters. The game moves you automatically, although you can find hiding places to shoot from a safe angle. Your main task is to aim and fire your weapon so as to take out the bad guys for points. Avoid the innocents, as shooting them costs you points. The enemies have tougher firepower than in the original.

A plethora of dangerous terrorists have taken control of Virtua City, and it's up to three decent cops to take out the trash. Powered by the Lockheed Model 2 chipset, Virtua Cop 2 features sprawling urban environments populated with some of the seediest mugs you'll ever encounter. Use the Gun of Justice to dish out hot lead to gun-wielding punks through three different stages, then take on three fearsome bosses who toss everything at you from missiles to coffee trucks. Just remember to reload by shooting off the screen -- you don't want to be caught with an empty chamber when the screen is swarming with bad guys.
